One down....June 24, 2008

One down.... Brock got his staple in his head removed this morning. That was not fun at all. On top of that, he had to have more blood work done AND a vaccination. I felt so bad for him! When we told him what he was going to have to do, he asked "Daddy going to give me money?" I told him yes! To reward him though I took him to buy a new Webkinz....can never have enough. The blood work was for another CBC test. Once we have this one back (tomorrow) we can see if his platelets have gone up, down or stayed in the same range. This test is really important and will determine our next step. While at the doctor's office though I got copies of his last CBC reports. Nothing different, just shows the high platelet counts. It is just shocking, I think, to actually see it for yourself instead of them telling you the numbers. Other than that, Brock is feeling fine today. He had a bout of fever over the weekend, but did not have a seizure this time . Please keep praying for him. I want our prayers to focus on finding an answer. Once we have an answer we can pray for healing and recovery. More later....as soon as I know anything.
